I just read PD James Death Comes to Pemberly last December and agree with you that the detective story fits the regency period rather well. I still have not read Mr. Darcy takes a Wife. I'm rather scared of it. I really want to read The Missing Manuscript of Jane Austen. I've enjoyed Syrie James's novels in the past. It's on my list. Great post!
