Who gets to keep the Kitty?

The Hello to Kitty giveaway here at LRG is now officially over, and I would like to thank everyone who helped to promote this contest as well as all of you good people who came by to join in the fun. The response has been great, and my only regret is that I don't have more than one set of books to give out.

This has only been my third contest online;the first one I did went over nicely but the second didn't get any takers(to be fair,I made that giveaway a bit more complicated by asking folks to write little Help Wanted ads tied into the book's characters).

With the wonderful turn out for this one,my contest confidence is restored and I hope to have more of these in future.

OK,enough of the fanfare....the winner of the Kitty series is ....(drum roll)....

A POOR GRAD STUDENT!!(cheers, confetti flying thru the air, balloons dropping from the ceiling, etc) Congratulations, and here's how you can claim your prize:

Just e-mail me at livingreadgirl@yahoo.com and give me a mailing address that I will pass on to my contact at Grand Central to ship the books out to you. The books will more than likely arrive in two separate packages,so don't worry if the last two get to you before the first four.

Everyone else, thank you again and I hope that some of you will pop in once in a while to see what other bits of pop culture business I'll be rambling about next.

To round out this post, here are a few select tunes that are tied in to the Kitty books. Since Kitty is a radio DJ,each book has a "playlist" of songs to give the reader an idea of what's to come. The song choices are an interesting blend of musical styles,to say the least. Since I already used "Bad Moon Rising"(which is also the theme song of Kitty's The Midnight Hour show),these jukebox picks are from Books 2-6. Enjoy and rock out:
